| The Cuyler-Brownsville Planned Neighborhood Conservation District promotes conservation, rehabilitation and redevelopment as recommeded by the Cuyler-Brownsville Urban Redevelopment Plan. This objective is pursued through compatible new development and the preservation of the historical and architectural character of the district. The Review Process A Certificate of Compatability is required for all exterior changes visible from the public right of way, new construction or demolition, or signage within the district boundaries. The process begins with an Application Submittal. For minor items, such as existing item repairs, color change, and the like, the City Preservation Officer issues the Certificate of Compatibility.
