Georgia MPO Conference a Success
The CUTS/MPO staff hosted the Fall 2006 Georgia MPO Conference in Savannah December 4-5. Transportation Planning staffs from Georgia’s urbanized areas (MPOs), GDOT, FHWA, SRTA and consultants convened at the Westin Savannah Harbor for two days of information sharing and fellowship. Plan Amendments
On October 25, 2006 the MPO board acted on amendments to the 2030 LRTP and the Chatham County Bikeway Plan regarding transportation enhancement projects and bikeway proposal on Back River Bridge. Please click here for more details.

Federal Planning Certification Review
In March 2005, the MPO underwent its first triennial certification review of the local transportation planning process with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
