August 29 & 30, 2011 -- Third Round Meetings:
Stakeholders and Public

The purpose of the third round of stakeholder and public meetings (listed above) was to reivew the evaluation of the the six end-to-end alternatives. During and for a couple weeks after the public meeting, members of the public had the opportunity provide their own ranking of the alternatives.

The information shared at the third public meeting is posted below. For each alternative, close-up images of the key elements are provided for detail. All alternatives propose the same solution at the entrance to Fort Pulaski on US 80, and therefore that image is listed once below.

Evaluation Matrix Comparing Alternatives
The "No Build" alternative and the previous GDOT 4-lane concept are included in the evaluation, along with the six alternatives below. The GDOT concept will not be a recommendation of this study because the intent of the study was to identify a more easily implementable alternative. It is inclulded in the comparison for reference.
