The CORE MPO is requesting the public to review and provide comments on a report titled: Draft FY 2027 – 2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The draft report includes descriptions of highway, transit, bike/pedestrian, as well as other multi-modal projects in the Savannah region programmed to receive funds in fiscal years 2027 to 2030. The comment period for the draft TIP starts on July 22, 2026. Written comments will be accepted until the close of business on August 20, 2026. Comments are accepted via text, email, or mail. CORE MPO is inviting the public to provide input on the transportation improvement project prioritization approach and priority project lists for the development of FY 2027 – 2030 TIP. The application period opens May 30, 2025, and runs through August 29, 2025, and ~$7M will be available for programming. Project award values will be 100% federal. Applicants may provide additional funds beyond the requested amount of FLAP funds to contribute to the project. Because of the limited amount of FLAP funding available in each state in any given federal fiscal year, proposals will receive additional consideration when funding is leveraged from other sources.
