SR 21 Corridor Study

The SR 21 Corridor Study is an initiative of the Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization in coordination with the Chatham County — Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) to improve mobility and to enhance the community along the corridor between I-516 and the Effingham County Line. The SR 21 Corridor Study objective evaluated alternatives for major capacity improvements to help alleviate congestion, accommodate future travel demand, improve safety, and enhance access to the Port and other major traffic generators.
